I tested several interactive timeline maker tools and chose Preceden because of its aesthetic and ease of use. Other tools were clunky and didn't really have the features that I needed such as layers. With Preceden, I was able to customize my timeline and create a timeline that I can insert in a presentation or have a beautiful printout to share.
