About Preceden

In the late 2000s, as a project manager in the Air Force, Matt saw firsthand how hard it was to make a professional project timeline. His unit even had a project manager whose full-time job was painstakingly assembling timelines in PowerPoint for its busy leadership to present at team meetings. Matt built Preceden to make that easier.

Today Preceden (pronounced like the word “precedent” without the “t”) is one of the web's most popular timeline makers, used by hundreds of thousands of people.
