Contact the Creator of a Timeline
The timelines you see on Preceden were not created by us.
Someone signed up for Preceden (our timeline maker service) and created that timeline. If it is marked as public, anyone can view it, including people who come across it through a search engine like Google or Bing.
Visitors sometimes write in asking who created a timeline, or asking us to correct something in it.
For privacy reasons we cannot give out the creator's email address, and we will not make changes to someone else's timeline.
What we can do is forward your message to the person who created the timeline. We'll explain that you would like to get in touch, and they can reply if they're interested.
To arrange that, email us at [email protected] with a link to the timeline and the message you'd like us to pass along. We usually reply within 24 hours. Whether the creator writes back is up to them, and we can't follow up on their behalf if they don't.
If you only need to cite the timeline, you can do that without knowing who created it: see Cite a Timeline.
