Change Account Email

Here's how to change your account's email:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click the Account link at the top of the page, then click Settings.
3. Click the Change Your Email link.
4. Enter a new email and click Update.

The change takes effect right away, and Preceden does not send a confirmation email, so check the new address for typos before you click Update. From then on, sign in with the new email and your existing password. Receipts for future payments go to the new address too.

If another Preceden account already uses that address, you'll see an error and your email stays the same.

If you signed up by clicking one of the sign-in buttons for another service, such as Google or GitHub, you will not see the Change Your Email link, because your account signs in through that provider. Email [email protected] if you need the address on your account changed.
