Appearance Settings - Font

Two Appearance settings control the text on your timeline: Font Name and Font Size.

Font Name

This setting controls the typeface used on your timeline and in the list of events below it.

The dropdown list has two groups. Recommended holds Proxima Nova (the default), Fira Sans, Inter, and Source Serif Pro; Other holds several dozen more Google Fonts. Every name in the list is shown in its own typeface, so you can see what a font looks like before you choose it.

To change the Font Name, follow these steps:

1. Click the Appearance button.

2. Select Font.

3. Pick a font from the Font Name dropdown list.

4. Click Save Changes.

Font Size

This setting controls the size of the text on your timeline, from 12 to 18 pixels. New timelines start at 16.

To change the Font Size, follow these steps:

1. Click the Appearance button.

2. Select Font.

3. Pick a size from the Font Size dropdown list.

4. Click Save Changes.
