Add a timeline header and footer

Preceden does not currently have a way to set your own header or footer.

However, you can mimic a header by adding notes to your timeline. To do this, click the title of your timeline, then add the notes. They will appear between the name of the timeline and the timeline itself. The notes will not appear when you view your timeline, but they will be included if you export it as a PDF.

If you are here because your PDF already has a footer reading Created with Preceden, that is our own branding rather than a footer you set. It appears on exports from the free plan and is removed automatically on any paid plan; see Print Your Timeline for the details.
