Add a Logo to Your Timeline

Upload your organization's logo to put your brand on your timeline.

The logo options live under Appearance > Logo. Custom logos are a premium feature on the Pro plan; on other plans that section shows a View Plans button instead. On the Pro plan, the section has an Upload Logo button. Once you've uploaded a logo, two settings control how it's displayed.

Position

Places the logo above your timeline, on the left, in the center, or on the right.

Magnification

Scales the logo down, which helps when the image you upload is large. The options run from 100% down to 25%.

When is the logo displayed?

If you export your timeline as a PDF, the logo appears above it:

It also appears when you share a link to your timeline with someone:

You won't see it if you open that link yourself while logged in, because anyone who can edit the timeline gets the editor instead. To check what other people see, open the link in a private browser window.

The logo does not appear on embedded timelines.

Can I hide Preceden's branding?

Yes, and there is nothing to set up. On any paid plan, people who open your shared link see the timeline without Preceden's navigation or footer, as long as its visibility is Secret URL or Password Protected. Public timelines always show them. Paid plans also remove the Preceden logo from PDF exports.

How can I add the logo to image exports?

The logo is not included in image exports (including the PowerPoint slide export). For images and slides, add your logo separately instead, which also gives you more control over its position and size.

Can I display the logo within the timeline?
