Add a logo to your timeline

Preceden lets you upload your organization's logo to make your timeline more on-brand.

The logo options live under Appearance > Logo. Custom logos are a premium feature on the Pro plan; on other plans that section shows a View Plans button instead. On the Pro plan you'll see a way to upload your logo, plus settings that control how it's displayed:

Position

Sets whether the logo appears on the left, in the center, or on the right above your timeline.

Magnification

The image you upload might be quite large, so use this setting to scale it down.

FAQs

When is the logo displayed?

If you export your timeline as a PDF, the logo appears above it:

A PDF export opened in Preview, with the Initech logo above the Product Launch Plan timeline

It also appears when you share a link to your timeline with someone:

A shared timeline link in a browser, the logo sitting above the timeline below Preceden's navigation

Can I hide Preceden's branding?

Yes. To hide Preceden's navigation and footer from the people you share a link with, add ?style=0 to the URL.

For example: https://www.preceden.com/timelines/521592-product-launch-plan?style=0

The same shared link with ?style=0 added, showing the logo and timeline without Preceden's navigation

How can I add the logo to image exports?

The logo is not displayed in the editor, and it is not included in image exports (including the PowerPoint slide export). For images and slides, add your logo separately instead, which also gives you more control over its position and size.

Can I display the logo within the timeline?

Not currently, but we may add it if there's interest. If you would like to see it, drop us a note: [email protected].
