How much does Preceden cost?

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan lets you create an unlimited number of timelines with up to 10 events on each one. You can customize how those timelines look, export them to PDF, PNG, PowerPoint, CSV, and Excel, share them with a link, and embed them on other sites.

A few features are reserved for our paid plans. Importing events from a spreadsheet requires a paid plan, and adding your own logo, inviting collaborators, and setting up a custom domain require our Pro plan. Timelines you export on the free plan also include a small Preceden logo, which our paid plans remove.

What payment methods do you support?

We accept credit cards and PayPal.

Do you provide a receipt/invoice?

Yes, after you pay, you can download a PDF invoice from your account page. When you download it, you can add custom information such as your organization name or VAT number.

How do subscriptions work?

When you pay by credit card, your subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly to match the plan you bought, until you cancel it. You can cancel anytime from your account page, and you keep access for the rest of the period you already paid for.

Will you email a reminder before renewal?

For yearly subscriptions, yes: we email you a reminder 15 days before the renewal. Monthly subscriptions renew without a reminder, since the charge repeats every month. Either way, we email you a receipt after each payment goes through.

What happens if I don't renew?

All Preceden accounts are subject to our Cancellation Policy.

For paid accounts, if you don't renew and don't log into your account at least once a year, your account and timelines are deleted automatically. We email you 60 days before that happens and again 7 days before. To keep your account open, log back in or renew your subscription.

Do collaborators have to pay?

Our Pro plan includes a collaboration feature that lets you invite other people to edit your timelines. The people you invite edit your timelines for free, whatever plan they are on. Timelines they create in their own account follow their own plan, so the free plan's limit of 10 events per timeline applies there until they upgrade.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we offer a 100% refund for 15 days after any payment, including renewals.

No, we've tried to price all of our plans so that they're affordable to everyone.
